Bantam Competitive Single Season Program

We will be running a competitive program here in Ridge Meadows this season and we are super excited to announce that Mr. George Morneau has been secured as the Bantam competitive program coach for the RMMBA 2021 season!  George comes with a ton of experience coaching baseball, not only with other associations, but also as the father of former MLB player Justin Morneau!!  We feel he will be a huge asset to the program and we are thankful for his commitment to our association!

Tryouts for the RMMBA Competitive Single Season Team will begin in Early 2021.  When they become available, further details on the tryout process will be posted on our website or can be emailed to you directly if you are registered with RMMBA or have emailed the Bantam Commissioners at bantam@rmmba.ca with an expression of interest.  Details will be released before the end of the year.

Bantam Single 'A' Spring & Summer Program

We will most likely be participating in an interlock 'A' Bantam spring season, playing games versus other associations in the Fraser Valley (depending on registration numbers and COVID19 regulations).  Although this does involve a bit of travel to neighbouring associations, this will provide our players with the best opportunity for a level, yet competitive experience throughout the spring season.

We are excited to announce that we plan to run multiple single 'A' development nights throughout the entire spring season.  These development opportunities will be open to all RMMBA 'A' players but will be especially geared to those hoping to try out for the 'A' summer season.

Spring Player Evaluations

Player evaluations for Spring season players will take place the middle of February.  Each registered player will receive an email with a specific time slot to be evaluated. Once evaluations are completed the teams will be selected the following week.

Summer “All Star” Bantam Program

The 2020 Summer "All Star" program will begin full time mid-June until the end of July. Bantam “All Star” teams represent Ridge Meadows and there is some travel. All Star teams may also qualify to participate in the Bantam Provincials. This is an excellent program designed to assist players further developing their baseball skills in a competitive environment.

Coaches

We are looking for coaches who are willing to give their time to help our players grow. Any willing applicants can apply for a team by emailing at bantam@rmmba.ca
