PeeWee (13U)

Year Born: 2011-2012

Peewee 13U is for players born in 2011 and 2012. This is a tiered division.

Early Bird Registration Discount until January 31st!

This division will have 2 practices + 2 games per week with games being on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.  All teams will have practice time on Sundays and another throughout the week.

Games and practices will be held at the following locations: Albion Sports Complex and Pitt Meadows Athletic Park

Peewee "A" Spring teams are created after evaluations and a draft and will likely consist of a number of RMMBA teams who interlock (play other associations).  There will be evaluations in May to create our Summer "A" team.

Our Peewee "AA" Spring program (1-2 teams) will also be created after evaluations and will interlock throughout the Spring.  There will be a second evaluation date in May to finalize the Summer "AA" program.  Families who are involved in the "AA" program should be aware that we are hosting the Don Breu Memorial Tournament May 17-19.  Please plan for your player's attendance and your volunteer time through that weekend.  *There will be an additional team fee charged on top of the regular Spring Registration fee for this program.  Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions about the cost for this program.

Our "AAA" team as well will be created after evaluations and is a "single season" team that interlocks throughout the GVRD and Fraser Valley, and also includes some games and tournaments on Vancouver Island and into the Interior/Okanagan.  The "AAA" runs through to the end of July and could possibly continue into August with Westerns and Nationals.  This is a highly competitive team and your player's commitment is very important at this level.  *There will be an additional team fee charged on top of the regular Spring Registration fee for this program.  Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions about the cost for this program.

*Note that AA and AAA teams will likely add a third practice per week.

RMMBA is volunteer run from top to bottom - PLEASE READ THIS PART CAREFULLY

This year we are initiating a new system that will come up as part of your registration process.  You will get the choice to either:

  • Sign up for enough volunteer jobs to count for 8 points

OR

  • Opt out of volunteering and pay the $150 fee - this will be added to your registration fee

We will hold coaches’ clinics for those that can commit to coaching. Those that cannot coach are still required to volunteer at EVERY game. Coaches need to focus on coaching, parents must set up/take down the fields, ensure the safety of the children waiting to bat, help with warm up and cool down. It's a very small amount of work if we all do our part, but a huge job if you let it all fall on your coach!  There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer on a team level and an association level.

Volunteer hours will be tracked by your team manager
